  1. Your inventory window is where you will access all
  2. of your stuff.  There are places for 12 item, as well
  3. as your armor and whatever you may have in your
  4. hands at the moment.  To rearrange things, just
  5. drag the icon from one spot to another.  For
  6. example, if you want to use a sword, drag it to the
  7. appropriate hand.  If something is already there, it
  8. will be replaced.

  10. If you simply click on something (and not move it)
  11. this means that you are trying to use it.  Some
  12. things, such as weapons, must be in your hand for
  13. you to use.  Other things can be used wherever they
  14. are.  A special note about rings: to use a ring, drag
  15. it to you hand, and then click on it again.  You will
  16. now see the icon of the hand, but instead of being
  17. empty, it will have a ring on.  Clicking on this
  18. be-ringed icon will remove the ring.  This also means
  19. that you can only have on at most two rings - one
  20. on the left and the other on the right hand.

  22. In this window is also bars indicating your health,
  23. fatigue, power, and load.  You want to keep these
  24. things as far to the right as possible at all times.
  25. Combat will often lower these, and resting will
  26. raise them back up again.  Casting magic spells will
  27. also lower power.  Your load will go up and down as
  28. you pick up and drop things, or spent money.  It will
  29. also fluctuate with your fatigue, since if you are
  30. tired, you can not carry as much.  If it goes all the
  31. way to the left, you can't pick up any goodies you
  32. might happen to find - and remember while it is
  33. nice and secure to wrap yourself up in plate mail,
  34. that stuff is much heavier than a simple leather
  35. jerkin (almost 6 times as much)!
